Linkedin and Resume Workshop
SUMMARY
LinkedIn is such a powerful yet daunting tool to new users who do not know where to begin. Our LinkedIn and resume workshop aimed to break down the different parts of LinkedIn and to help students understand how to optimize their use of the app. It has been ran two years in a row now, one in person and one virtual, and was really well received by our general members! We brought in guest speaker Jonathan Panigas, a LinkedIn employee and Western alum, who shared with us his personal branding expertise. At the end of the workshop, he hosted a Q and A session with our participants to answer any remaining questions and handed out a summary of the most useful LinkedIn tips.
